Before visiting Canada, all Norwegian travelers must get a visa. Norwegian citizens must apply for a Canada eTA visa for typical tourist, business, transit, or short-term medical purposes. Before entering Canada, Norwegian citizens must get a travel authorization. This process has been substantially accelerated since the Canadian government launched the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system in 2016. Norwegians planning to spend up to 180 days in Canada can apply for a visa waiver online using the simple eTA application form. A valid electronic travel authorization for Norway is a multi-entry travel authorization that allows the holder to stay in Canada for up to six months per visit. Once issued, the Canadian electronic permit is automatically linked to the traveler’s passport. A Canadian eTA is valid for five years or until the expiration of the associated passport, whichever comes first. It is now possible to obtain a Canada eVisa waiver from Norway exclusively online via the simple eTA application, eliminating the need to visit a Canadian Embassy or Consulate to apply for a travel authorization in person.

  • Passport – all applicants who wish to obtain a Canada ETA must be passport holders. However, before you apply, check your passport’s expiry date because it needs to maintain its validity for at least another 6 months from the date of arrival in Canada.
  • E-mail address – while the Canada ETA is electronically linked to your passport, you will receive a copy of the authorization via e-mail in PDF format. You are not required to have a physical copy on you, but you can still print one out just in case you need it.
  • Means of payment – You can use a credit/debit card or PayPal account to pay for the eTA fees.

Poles, like many other nationalities, do not need a visa to visit Canada for a limited period of time. The eTA was established by the Canadian government in 2016 to make it easier for Poles to obtain a travel authorization to Canada. All Polish citizens must apply for a visa waiver or a visa before entering Canada. To enter Canada for vacation, business, transit, or medical reasons, Polish people must apply for a Canada eTA visa. Visitors wishing to spend up to 180 days in Canada can apply online for an approved eTA, which is electronically connected to their passport. If you intend to travel by plane, you must first obtain a Canadian ETA. When an electronic permit is issued, it is automatically linked to the traveler’s passport. An approved Canadian eTA is valid for 5 years (or until the associated passport expires, whichever comes first). The application process only takes a few minutes. Polish citizens can now apply for a Canadian eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) online, eliminating the need to personally apply for a document to enter the country at an Embassy or Consulate.

Canada Online Visa Requirements for Poland Citizens

  • Means of payment – before submitting your application, you will be asked to make the payment. So, use your credit/debit card.

In Canada, there is a lot to do. Canada is a huge country where both nature and modernism can be appreciated. If you live in Portugal, you’re in luck, because the ETA is expected to come from Canada. Portuguese citizens must apply for a Canada eTA visa to enter Canada on a short-term basis for general tourist, business, transit, or medical reasons. This process has been exceptionally straightforward since 2016, when the Canadian government launched the Canadian eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization), an electronic visa waiver that allows Portuguese residents multiple entrances for a 6-month stay for each entrance throughout its lifetime. Keep the Canada ETA in mind while planning your travel to Canada. This document is not available in all countries. Some nationalities, however, are fortunate enough to be eligible to apply. Portuguese citizens traveling to Canada for up to 180 days do not need a visa to enter the country but must obtain travel authorization in advance. An eTA visa waiver for Canada eTA from Portugal is valid for a period of 5 years or until the expiry date of the traveler’s passport. It allows multiple entries into Canada through any of the country’s airports during this period, but not entry into the country through a land or sea border. However, a Portuguese citizen can stay in the country for a maximum of 180 days on each entry. For longer stays, travelers must apply for a different type of Canada visa. The Canadian ETA will be linked to the traveler’s Portuguese Passport and is read by electronic immigration machines at the border upon arrival. The eTA Canada for Portuguese citizens was introduced to speed up the process of obtaining a Canada visa waiver from Portugal and can be conveniently applied for by the traveler own home. The ETA application for Portuguese citizens is a simple process and involves completing a Canadian ETA application form online.

Requirements for Canada Visa for Portuguese Citizens

  • A bio-metric Portuguese passport, valid for at least 6 months from the proposed date of arrival in Canada.
  • An application form which is completed online, and which includes personal details such as the traveler’s full name and date of birth, as well as your Portuguese passport number, date of issue, and date of expiry.
  • Online payment via credit or debit card is required before the travel authorization approval process can begin.
  • An email address is required to finalize the application and to receive communication about the eTA’s approval.

Romanians who wish to travel Canada by plane for up to six months in a row can apply online for a Canadian eTA. The Romanian eTA visa is mandatory for all Romanian citizens visiting the country for a short amount of time. Citizens of 53 countries, including Romania, can obtain a Canadian eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) and enter Canada several times for up to six months. The Canadian eTA, which also applies to Romanian nationals, was established in 2016 to make it easier for visa-exempt overseas travelers to get a travel authorization. The online visa waiver system has also resulted in significantly shorter waits at the Canadian border. Those who are traveling for tourism, business, medical or consultation purposes, or transiting the country en route to their final destination are eligible to apply for an eTA. Once they have received an approved electronic permit, Romanian passport holders can travel to Canada without a visa. An approved Canadian eTA allows a maximum stay of 6 months in Canada with each entry, while its full validity is 5 years for airport entry from the date of issue or until the expiry date of the associated passport. Applying for a Canadian eTA is a quick and easy process. Romanian citizens can easily access the application form through the Canada Online Visa website.

  • Valid passport – verify that your passport has a valid date of six more months from your arrival in Canada.
  • An e-mail address – before entering your email, make sure it is really valid because all communication will be done through this email.
  • Means of payment – to finish your application, you must make a payment and for that, you can use a credit/debit card or PayPal account.

In 2016, the Canadian government implemented this online travel permission for specific countries. Submitting an application and being approved into Canada will be lot faster and more convenient. Slovaks are among those who do not require a visa to enter Canada. Slovak passport holders can obtain the Canadian eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization). To enter Canada for tourist, business, transit, or medical purposes, Slovak people must apply for a Canada eTA visa. The Canadian eTA is electronically connected to the passports of the holders. They may utilize this Electronic Travel Document on a number of trips during its validity term, but they must ensure that none of them last longer than 180 days. Slovak passport holders who are interested in moving to Canada for a more stable period and who are interested in full-time employment or academic opportunities should note that the eTA does not cover them. For this purpose, they need to arrange a visit to the Canadian Embassy and request more information. Eligible Slovak candidates can access and complete the Canadian eTA application form, which typically takes less than 30 minutes.

  • A valid travel document or passport in order to apply for Canada eTA.
  • A valid credit or debit card or PayPal account to pay for the Canada eTA.
  • A valid email address, to receive the Canada eTA in their inbox.
